| Wiggins Slugs Bruins to 7-5 Win | The So Cal Bruins topped the Jersey Shore D-Bags, 7-5, in National League action at Jersey West at Staples Field. The player of the game was So Cal catcher Earl Wiggins. The Bruins bumped their record to 88-59 with this latest triumph.
Wiggins had a key at-bat for So Cal early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 39th home run of the season and gave So Cal an early 3-0 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Wiggins.
