Multi-HR Game for Santiago in 12-8 Win
The So Cal Bruins downed the Maui Tropics, 12-8, at Rainbow Stadium. The Bruins were led by José Antonio Santiago, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4. The current losing streak for Maui has reached 10 games.

Santiago had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-2 curveball from Jerry Martin, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Bruins a 4-3 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Santiago.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Santiago, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
