| Beavers Lose to Rebels, 3-2 | The Boston Rebels did just enough to sneak past the Baffin Island Beavers, 3-2, at Fenway Park. Boston pitcher Robbie Daniel earned player of the game honors. Boston reliever Robbie Daniel was credited with the win, to go to 6-6. Luis Féliz took the loss for Baffin Island. Ramón López notched his 4th save in 6 chances.
Ricardo Brandariz, who is tied for 5th in the NL in triples with 8, aided the Boston cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 4 with a double.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Daniel said.
Baffin Island has now lost 4 in a row.
