| Victory Pushes Rockets Record to 69-52 | The Nassau Rockets picked up a win at Nassau Grounds, knocking off the Austin River Sharks, 6-4. On the mound for Nassau was right-hander Armando Avilés, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Rockets have now won 4 straight.
The Rockets got a big at-bat from second baseman Joaquín López. For the game, López was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 4 runs. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 97th hit of the season gave Nassau a 6-4 lead.
