| River Sharks Clip Noise, 1-0 | The Austin River Sharks picked up a win at Greendale Community Field, knocking off the Nevada Noise, 1-0. Starting pitcher António Rijo was an essential part of his team's success. The win was credited to Jorge Delgado in relief. His record improves to 2-6. José López took the loss. Paco Gutiérrez, credited with the save, is now 22 for 25 in save opportunities.
Had Andy Aiton not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases empty, Aiton hit a solo home run. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the River Sharks.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Rijo.
