| Rockets Win in Glorious Fashion | There was no shortage of dramatics at Nassau Grounds today.
Behind a solid performance from first baseman Wilson Allen, the Nassau Rockets defeated the Boston Rebels, 8-6. Allen went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Rockets. The win was credited to Suezo Morimoto in relief. His record improves to 4-4. Tomás Molina took the loss.
Joaquín López chipped in for Nassau with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
