Marshals Score Late to Upend Kings, 8-5
It was a fun time at Mythology Coliseum, where the Kansas City Kings and Houston Marshals tangled.

Behind a solid performance from right fielder Guy Moss, the Houston Marshals defeated the Kansas City Kings, 8-5. Moss went 3 for 4 with 2 triples and a double. He scored 3 times for the Marshals. Vinícius Itaquy was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 42 of 49 save opportunities.

Had Gustavo Díaz not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Díaz hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 8-5, in favor of the Marshals.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Houston manager Tom Lucott.

The Marshals, at 72-87, sit in 4th place in the Continental League Central Division.
