| Marshals Fall Short, 5-4, at Austin | It was a good time at Greendale Community Field, where fans came to watch the Houston Marshals and Austin River Sharks get after it.
Austin River Sharks starter José Pérez was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Houston Marshals, 5-4. In 8 innings, Pérez surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 4 runs. Paco Gutiérrez earned his 31st save in 36 chances.
