| Royale with Cheese Win at Houston, 4-3 | Kalamazoo starter Lorenzo Sánchez pitched effectively against the Houston Marshals at Mythology Coliseum. The left-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Frank Davis was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 7 save opportunities. The Royale with Cheese bumped their record to 38-30 with this latest triumph.
Francisco Vega aided the Kalamazoo cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4.
