Pirates Out of Playoff Race Friday, May 12th, 2028 They remained in the thick of things for most of the 2028 season, but the hopes of a playoff berth are now over for the Oceanside HS Pirates. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the playoff. The Pirates have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 15 years as a High School Stars League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022. In the last 10 seasons, the Pirates have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
