Hoover Bashes 5 Base Hits Sunday, April 30th, 2028 No matter what the Overland Park HS Triplets threw him today, Brian Hoover hit it. The 17-year-old Newport News HS Paints second baseman racked up 5 hits in 7 at-bats today at Paints Ballpark and led the Paints to a 24-5 victory. Brian Hoover hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
