Wright Rocks Trojans for 3 HRs Thursday, April 20th, 2028 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Robert Wright discovered that today at Trawlers Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 19-13 Randall HS Raiders win over the Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS Trojans. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Randall HS catcher said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Wright finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Robert Wright hit a solo-shot off Jerry Billings in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off James Baker in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Victor Justice in the 8th. For the season, Wright is hitting at a .291 clip with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. He has 23 hits, 9 walks and a .364 on-base percentage. |
