The Math Says - Notre Dame Out of Playoffs Saturday, May 22nd, 2027 The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Roy Burke of the Fighting Irish said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. The Fighting Irish have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 20 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2021. In the last 10 seasons, the Fighting Irish have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
