Louisiana State Devastated by Playoff Elimination Sunday, May 28th, 2028 Members of the Louisiana State Tigers are left wondering what could have been today, as the team has been eliminated from postseason contention. "You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said starting pitcher Ben Johnston. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." Louisiana State last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tigers have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
