The Florida Gators have officially captured the crown, the 2nd in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said left fielder Juan Salas. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 28-22 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st College Baseball championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Joe Shaw. "This is what you play for." |
