North Carolina Won't Make Playoffs Thursday, May 25th, 2028 North Carolina Tar Heels manager Lang Zhou said his club came "agonizingly close" to making the playoffs. But close won't be good enough this year, as the Tar Heels have now been officially ousted from contention. The Tar Heels have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 21 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2023. In the last 10 seasons, the Tar Heels have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
