The Math Says - Alabama Out of Playoffs Monday, May 22nd, 2028 Alabama Crimson Tide second baseman Steve Woods said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2028 postseason contention. The Crimson Tide have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 21 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022. In the last 10 seasons, the Crimson Tide have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
