Virginia Tech Won't Make Playoffs Saturday, May 20th, 2028 Virginia Tech Hokies manager Jeremy Smiley said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Before this season, the Hokies last missed the playoffs in 2026. In the 21 years they have been a College Baseball franchise, they have missed the playoffs 20 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
