López Bewilders Bears Wednesday, May 17th, 2028 Baylor dropped a 1-0 shutout to Rubén López and the Florida State Seminoles at Baylor Ballpark today. The Bears offered little resistance to López, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 8 and walked 0. "It just felt right today," the left-handed López told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." Thus far this season López has posted a 6-1 record, started 9 games, struck out 54 batters in 53 innings and compiled a 2.89 ERA.
