Kip Coleman Lost for Season
Wednesday, April 19th, 2028
Alabama reliever Kip Coleman could miss the remainder of the season because of shoulder inflammation. He exited yesterday's Iowa State game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Coleman would be out 5-6 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

For the season Coleman has no saves, tossed 10.1 innings, fanned 10 batters and produced an ERA of 19.16. He has also been credited with no wins and no losses.
