Johnson Belts Bunch of Base Hits Friday, April 7th, 2028 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Andrew Johnson today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Plainsman Park and paced the Tigers to a 17-9 win over the Boston College Eagles. After his dynamite batting performance, the Auburn left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Andrew Johnson hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
