Morales Red-Hot, PIO Player of the Week Monday, July 17th, 2028 It was announced today that Salem shortstop Juan Morales had received the Pioneer League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .438 BA (7-for-16), 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. Morales is hitting at a .215 mark this season. His stats show 11 home runs, 42 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has played 76 games for the Sledgehammers. |
