García Grabs PIO Best Batter Award for September Sunday, October 1st, 2028 At only 21 years of age, Juan García could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Chula Vista Tacos, as September was one to remember for the catcher and he has captured the Pioneer League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .333 with 4 home runs, 24 RBIs and 16 runs scored. For the year García has hit at a .280 clip with 27 RBIs, 4 home runs and 23 runs scored. |
