Appalachian League Picks Top Player Monday, July 17th, 2028 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Appalachian League, but last week Weston Chaney of the Pensacola Pilots reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Chaney rocked opposing pitching for a .522 average (12-for-23), 3 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Chaney is currently batting .380 with 9 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
