Hits Galore: Ward Drills 5 Hits Friday, July 28th, 2028 It was high-fives all around for Jason Ward at Murray Bros. Memorial Park today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Erie Jaxx. Ward smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 16-10 win. "Jason was hitting everything," said Orioles manager Mathieu Boucher. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Jaxx manager Mario Rosas told BNN beat writers that Ward "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Ward oversleeps next time." Jason Ward doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Scott King in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
