Cincinnati's Córdova Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Thursday, April 6th, 2028
The Cincinnati Pride stopped the Minnesota Death Stars by a score of 10-9 at Empire Stadium today, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Paco Córdova. The 21-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Córdova said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Córdova did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Death Stars.

"Not much that I can say," offered Minnesota manager Nick Walker. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Paco Córdova singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
