Cincinnati's Córdova Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Thursday, April 6th, 2028 The Cincinnati Pride stopped the Minnesota Death Stars by a score of 10-9 at Empire Stadium today, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Paco Córdova. The 21-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Córdova said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Córdova did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Death Stars. "Not much that I can say," offered Minnesota manager Nick Walker. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
