Fox Stretches Hit String to 20 Tuesday, July 4th, 2028 ManBearPigs catcher Casey Fox was beaming today after his team had beaten Penquannock 15-1 at Halesite Grounds. He had contributed 3 hits to the victory and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Life is good when the hits keep coming like they have in the last few weeks. I hope I can keep it up a little while longer." Casey Fox walked in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. So far this year in 29 games Fox is hitting .393 with 2 home runs, 20 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
