Year Ends for Pete Weber in Penquannock
Wednesday, August 16th, 2028
When Pete Weber was hurt against the Buffalo LightSabres, the Penquannock Overrated Jeter were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe that first thought. The 26-year-old third baseman suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing the ball in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Weber would miss 4-5 months of the season.

This year Weber is batting .271 with 98 hits, 12 home runs, 56 RBIs, 47 walks, .353 OBP and has scored 67 runs.
