Red Deer's Ibarra Winner, NWL Best Hitter in July Tuesday, August 1st, 2028 Luis Ibarra made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Northwest League this past month. The Red Deer Wranglers right fielder shone through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .373 with 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Ibarra is batting .318 this season in 106 games with 21 home runs, 90 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 121 hits in 380 at-bats. |
