Cook Selected PCL's Best Player
Friday, October 20th, 2028
The manager of the Mile High Broncos said he thinks Dave Cook is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2028 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Pacific Coast League Outstanding Hitter Award.

His winning campaign featured a .337 batting average and a .508 on-base percentage this year. In 121 games he piled up 137 hits, 40 doubles, 1 triple, 34 home runs, 132 RBIs and 104 runs scored.

Carlos Córdova of the Houston Hammertime finished second in voting, while Will Lott of the Albuquerque Isotopes finished third.
