5-Hit Game for García
Thursday, September 14th, 2028
The Mexico City Cerveceros stopped the Mile High Broncos by a score of 21-12 at Mile High Field today, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Juan García. The 31-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," García said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

García did just that in his 7 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Broncos.

"Not much that I can say," offered Mile High manager Patrick Patterson. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Juan García hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th, hit an RBI single in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.

This season García has hit 10 home runs and posted a .298 batting average.
