Chikafuji Slams 5 Hits for Texarkana Sunday, August 27th, 2028 Texarkana left fielder Taki Chikafuji had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Santa Monica Bruins at Jackie Robinson Stadium as the Bears picked up a 16-2 victory. "He was patient up there today," Texarkana skipper Chris Hall told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Chikafuji has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Taki Chikafuji singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Scotty Johnson in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
