Campbell Stretches Hit String to 20 Friday, August 25th, 2028 Billy Campbell continues to hit at a blistering pace. For 20 straight games he has had at least one hit. Campbell did it again today with 2 hits in the Texarkana triumph over Calgary. The Bears defeated the Cowboys 8-7 at Burns Field. Billy Campbell struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. For the year Campbell is batting .274 with 20 home runs, 69 RBIs and 62 runs scored. |
