Season Possibly Over for César Rúbio Tuesday, June 20th, 2028 The Maui Tropics will have to make do without César Rúbio for 4 months. He suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in the game today against the San Francisco Bandits. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This season Rúbio has picked up 1 save and posted a 2-5 record with a 4.93 ERA. He has 33 relief appearances, tossed 45.2 innings and struck out 44. |
