Bad News For Gonzáles and Plymouth Friday, October 27th, 2028 The Plymouth Rocks plan to take it slow with third baseman António Gonzáles, knowing that his recovery from a strained quad would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "António has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated." In his stats this season, Gonzáles has posted a batting average of .273 with 135 hits in 494 at-bats, 2 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has also scored 63 runs, walked 50 times and compiled a .341 OBP. |
