Trouble in Plymouth, Patrick Suffers Setback Friday, October 6th, 2028 Roy Patrick was taking it slow and easy, nursing a sprained ankle back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Plymouth team official, "Roy was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 27-year-old Rocks left fielder would be out at least another 2 weeks. Thus far this season in 139 games Patrick is batting .269 with 32 home runs, 77 RBIs and 82 runs scored. He has 146 hits in 542 at-bats. |
