Oscar Wheeler to Miss 6 Weeks Thursday, September 28th, 2028 It took the Kalamazoo team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Oscar Wheeler won't simply play through a strained abdominal muscle after he got hurt throwing the ball in today's Stars-Royale with Cheese game. At first, it looked like Wheeler might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6 weeks. This season Wheeler has compiled a 8-11 mark with a 4.22 ERA. |
