The New York Knights and Beech Mountain Mountaineers provided some drama at Park Top.

Juan Castro was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the New York Knights. The third baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Beech Mountain Mountaineers. Matthew Scott earned the save for Beech Mountain, his 3rd of the year.

António Zúńiga aided the Beech Mountain cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.

"We found a way to get it done," Castro said.

With the win over New York, the Mountaineers improved to 19-22.
