Pikes Suffer 4-2 Setback
New York starter Dan Wilson pitched effectively against the Seattle Pikes at Pikes' Point Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. The save went to Paco Ruíz, his 6th this season. Their 50-78 record puts the Knights third in the National League Eastern Division.

Vic Langlois had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for the Knights. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and New York trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run triple.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Langlois said.
