Fans who gathered at Edmund Fitzgerald Field saw a good contest between the Niagara Falls Frenzy and New York Knights.
In a tight battle between the Niagara Falls Frenzy and the New York Knights, pitcher Albert Gonzáles was in the zone. The Niagara Falls right-hander was named the player of the game in Niagara Falls's 3-1 win. Esteban Juárez finished to wrap up his 24th save.
Niagara Falls grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Clyde Yarbrough delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Frenzy.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play ever better," said Niagara Falls manager Derek Booker.
Niagara Falls is now 45-81, while New York is 49-77.
