Fans who gathered at Mythology Coliseum saw a good contest between the Houston Marshals and Austin River Sharks.
The Houston Marshals picked up a win at Mythology Coliseum, knocking off the Austin River Sharks, 5-3. Starting pitcher Braydon Schute was an essential part of his team's success. Schute, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks.
The Houston triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was Juan Gómez. In the bottom of the second, the Houston catcher hit a 2-run double. It staked his team to a 2-0 lead.
