López Lifts Mountaineers to 11-7 Win
Tony López added some punch to the Beech Mountain offense, helping them outmuscle the Plymouth Rocks, 11-7. In the game, López, who is a two-time Gold Glove Award winner, was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Júlio Torres was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. Beech Mountain now owns a record of 39-41.

López had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Mountaineers went on to win.
