The Jersey Shore D-Bags beat the St. Louis Browns, 10-3, at Ballpark at the Shore. The win was largely due to the efforts of second baseman Ricardo González, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The second-place D-Bags now have a win-loss record of 92-69.

In the bottom of the third, Ben Morton hit a 3-run home run for Jersey Shore. The 22nd home run of the season for the Jersey Shore catcher put the D-Bags on top, 5-2.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said González.
