Bruins Suffer 8-4 Loss to Bandits

San Francisco Bandits starter Kunihiko Daikawa was in fine form against the So Cal Bruins at Bay View Park, leading his team to a 8-4 win. Daikawa, the winner, moves to 8-10. He threw 5.2 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. Mitsunari Taguchi got credit for the save for San Francisco. It was his 35th of the year.
Doing his part for San Francisco was shortstop Javier Ramírez, who stroked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, Ramírez went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"Kunihiko was pounding the zone," said San Francisco manager Felipe Díaz.
San Francisco, at 61-93, sits in 4th place in the National League Western Division.
