San Francisco catcher Owen Carter was instrumental in his team's 5-2 win over the Maui Tropics. Carter, who signed a 4-year contract worth $24,500,000 on 02/15/2028, went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bandits. San Francisco has now won 3 in a row.
San Francisco grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Carter hit a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Bandits out in front, 3-2.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Carter told the San Francisco Herald.
