The Frenzy grabbed a win, 4-3, at Edmund Fitzgerald Field, overcoming a fine effort from Baffin Island pitcher José Rojas. Rojas went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Ed Jones got the win, improving to 5-7. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Niagara Falls bumps their record to 20-52 with the win.
Going deep for Niagara Falls was Clyde Yarbrough. The left fielder had a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning for the Frenzy. It put his team ahead, 4-3, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Yarbrough went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Baffin Island manager Chris Black, "let me know."
