Bishop Verot HS's Lutz Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Saturday, May 8th, 2027 It was a downpour of hits for George Lutz at Ballpark of Sterling HS today. The Bishop Verot HS third baseman tore into Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS for 5 hits in 7 at-bats to pace the Bishop Verot HS to a rain-delayed 26-14 victory. Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central HS manager Pedro Contreras bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Lutz's big day. "He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Lutz was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame." George Lutz singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
