Martin Selected HSNL's Top Pitcher Thursday, June 17th, 2027 The Jackson HS clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Robbie Martin will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2027 High School NL Outstanding Pitcher Award. Martin made 9 starts this year, winning 8 and losing 0. He threw 46 innings, fanned 58, allowed 34 hits and 9 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .198 average as he logged an impressive 1.76 ERA. Doug Acevedo of the Huntsville HS Wasps finished second in voting, while Pat Hardy of the Jackson HS Swamp Bats finished third. |
