Providence Celebrates Wild Card Win Sunday, May 23rd, 2027 Miguel Sánchez of the Providence Friars said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in College Baseball. The grind is now over, as the Friars have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the third baseman. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager Ánibal Pérez said he believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
