Playoffs Won't Happen for Volunteers Saturday, May 22nd, 2027 The Tennessee Volunteers will play out the rest of the schedule, but they will do so without any chance of making the playoffs. The club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Tennessee last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 20-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Volunteers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
